GSF Car Parts are one of the UK’s largest independent suppliers of quality car parts for AUDI, BMW, CITROEN, MERCEDES-BENZ, PEUGEOT, PORSCHE, RENAULT, SAAB, SEAT, SKODA, VOLKWAGEN and VOLVO vehicles.

We offer greater national coverage than most of our competitors through a network of 56 branches and then 2 large distribution depots based at Heathrow and Birmingham,so we are able to supply car parts across the UK, Europe and Worldwide. We offer a genuine ‘next day’ delivery service by approved carriers, or a cash and carry service at any of our outlets. Mail order is available from our Heathrow HQ, and for Scottish customers our Glasgow branch operate the mail order service, with Northern Ireland mail order being served by our Belfast branch whilst the Dublin branch covers Eire.

German and Swedish was founded by Stan West in 1987 and since those early days our ethos has been to give you, the customer, the highest service and best value possible. Initially the Company supplied Volkswagen and Audi parts through one branch in North London. Rapid expansion soon followed, as a result of keeping our promises, and within 10 years 12 branches and a new 40,000 sq ft Warehouse near Heathrow had been opened. By this time, the product range had been expanded to include parts for Saab, Volvo, Porsche, BMW and Mercedes.

In April 2000 German & Swedish merged with the well known French car parts supplier, Andyspares Ltd to form German Swedish & French Car Parts (GSF Car Parts), and soon expanded further with the acquisition of two famous names in the aftermarket parts business, AUTOCAVAN and URO AUTOMOTIVE, to establish the present £50 million pound turnover company. This expansion resulted in the Group having a colossal 120,000 sq ft in Birmingham in addition to the existing Heathrow facility.

The Group launched its Renault, Citroen and Peugeot parts programme to all branches during 2001. Further vehicle makes, Seat, Smart and Skoda have been added to the range since then.

By October 2006, the GSF Car Parts Group had a total of 50 branches, including one in Dublin, and two major distribution centres at Heathrow and Birmingham. There are over 200 GSF delivery vehicles on the road and 700 staff employed across the Group! 2006-7 saw further opportunities for the GSF Group, and the opening of further outlets is planned. We have also recently added many new product ranges to complement our existing offers. As well as many new products for new vehicles, staff at GSF are also actively introducing parts for cars outside of the traditional German, Swedish, and French range. A full range of parts for all cars under our "all-makes" programme is now available from many branches. In 2007, a brand new outlet was opened in Swindon, Wilts followed by a further branch in Huddersfield, and 3 further branches will open this year. A new partnership with diagnostics specialists TDCS (Technical Diagnostic Complete Solutions) means that GSF can offer the very latest vehicle diagnostic equipment, plus training and support to our garage customers who need to employ the latest diagnostic and test facilities for modern vehicles.

The year 2008 commenced with the moving of our Lincoln branch to brand new, much larger premises in a prime retail location, and also saw the opening of our new outlet in Stoke on Trent in early March. The Daventry branch was also moved to larger premises. In August 2008, we open in brand new premises in Wolverhampton to strengthen our coverage in the Midlands, and bringing our total number of outlets to 58!
